Now onboarding pilot buildings
Retire the paper khata. Keep the trust it stood for.
Dwar gives every owner, committee member, and tenant in a building the same shared ledger — and gives renters a straight, broker-free way to find their next flat.

The old system was never written down properly
Every building runs on trust. The problem is what happens when memory and paper aren't enough to back it up.
No proof, just a promise
A paper khata is one spilled cup of tea away from disappearing. When a payment is disputed, there's rarely a record either side can point to.
Shared costs, unshared visibility
Lift maintenance, guard salaries, water bills — in most buildings, one owner tracks it all and everyone else takes their word for it.
Flat-hunting means fighting brokers
Renters chase listings that were rented out weeks ago, pay fees to middlemen, and rarely get to speak with the actual owner.
One app, two sides of the same building
Owners and committees run the building. Renters find their next home. Both sides meet in the same ledger.
For owners & committees
From spreadsheet chaos to one shared record
- 01
Add your property
Set up your building, flats, and owners once. Every unit gets its own ledger from day one.
- 02
Track dues automatically
Rent and service charges are scheduled per flat, with WhatsApp and push reminders sent before they're due.
- 03
Collect payment, logged instantly
Tenants or owners submit photo-proof of payment. One approval and it's recorded — no re-entering numbers by hand.
- 04
Everyone sees the shared ledger
Every owner in the building sees the same numbers, the same history, at the same time.
For renters
Find a flat without a middleman
- 01
Search verified listings
Filter by location, price, and bedrooms. Every listing comes straight from a verified owner, not a scraped ad.
- 02
Message the owner directly
No broker in the middle. Ask questions, negotiate, and schedule a visit in the same thread.
- 03
Book and move in, tracked automatically
Sign the agreement digitally and your tenancy — and future rent — is tracked in Dwar from move-in day.

Why Dwar
Built for buildings, not just landlords
Most rent apps assume one owner, one property. Dwar was designed from the start for buildings with several owners sharing decisions and costs.
Transparency by design
There's no owner-only view hiding numbers from the rest of the building. If it affects the building, everyone with a stake can see it.
Bilingual from day one
Built with both English and বাংলা speakers in mind — not translated as an afterthought.

Frequently asked questions
Is my data private?
Only people connected to your building or your tenancy can see your ledger. Committee-level expense data is visible to co-owners in that building; it isn't visible to other buildings, renters browsing listings, or the public.
How do payments work?
During the pilot, payments happen the way they do today — bank transfer, mobile banking, or cash — and are recorded in Dwar with photo proof for the other side to approve. In-app payment collection is on our roadmap.
Is this only for Dhaka?
We're piloting with buildings in Dhaka and Chattogram first, but Dwar isn't tied to one city. If you'd like to bring it to your building elsewhere in Bangladesh, join the waitlist and tell us where.
Do I need to be tech-savvy to use this?
No. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use Dwar. The whole point is replacing a paper process with something just as simple — not adding complexity on top of it.
Is it free?
Dwar is free for pilot buildings and renters while we onboard. We'll be upfront well in advance of introducing any paid plans for larger buildings.
What's available today vs. what's coming?
The “Available now” section above lists everything that's live in the app right now. Everything under “Coming soon” is planned but not yet built — we'd rather tell you the real state than promise features that don't exist yet.
